Visit Barnard Station

The May 17th Open House has been cancelled to allow time to complete restoration projects. Barnard Station will be open for free tours on the 3rd Sunday, June through October, from 11am to 1pm. Dates are June 21, July 19, August 16, September 20 and October 18. The Locust Grove Schoolhouse will be open the same time..

Private Tours
If you have a group interested in a private tour, contact Barnard Station via email. Groups are limited to 20 people. There is no fee, but donations are appreciated.

Location
Barnard Station is located at 650 South Wawaset Road, West Chester, PA 19382 across from the rear entrance to the Chester County Pocopson Home. From the Rt 52 roundabout travel north and the house will be on the left. There is public parking to the rear of the house and in front of the Pocopson Township building.

There are walking trails open to the public from dawn until dusk. Visitors to the site will be able to walk among the conserved land, once farmed by the Barnard family, surrounding the historic house.
